President Cao Derong met with Mr. Korhan Kurdoglu, chairman of DEİK (External Economic Relations Board) China Business Council in Turkey, CEO of TFI Food Investment Group and chairman of Burger King China on April 29. The two sides had friendly discussion on cooperation and joint promotion of agricultural and food trade between China and Turkey.

Burger King entered the Chinese market in 2005. Turkey's Tab Food Investments, as the controlling shareholder, established Burger King (China) Investment Corporation in Sep. 2013. By the end of 2023, Burger King has opened more than 1,500 restaurants in more than 150 cities in China.
